The metal cased LCD modules that we offer are flat panel TFT monitors that can be used for a variety of specialized applications. All user controls are located behind a removable access panel on the rear of the monitor, making the modules a good choice for applications requiring a display with no external or exposed controls. IntelliTouch Surface Acoustic Wave is an advanced touchscreen technology that offers the highest image quality and durability for non-harsh environments. Responds to fingers, gloves, and soft-rubber tipped stylus pens. Good choice for multimedia presentations, control rooms, and public information kiosks such as museum and lobby displays. Not recommended for extremely dirty/dusty environments.

ClearTek Capacitive is a durable touchscreen technology with high image quality. Rugged enough to withstand harsher workplace environments, and also performs well in public places. Good choice for applications including restaurant and point-of-sale systems, industrial control systems, and information kiosks. Responds to finger/skin contact only, so gloves or stylus pens will not work with this screen.

Metal Case LCD Modules with PenTouch Capacitive Touchscreen
PenTouch Capacitive is the same as the ClearTek Capacitive type touchscreen, but with the addition of a tethered stylus pen. You can set the touchscreen to respond to finger only, stylus pen only, or both. A good choice for handwriting and signature capture applications.
